Human skeleton models and bone sets for medical students.
XBONZ makes anatomy models in Ahmedabad, India: bilateral and unilateral disarticulated human skeleton models, a 3-part life-size skull and a female pelvis model, along with the instruments students carry: dissection kits, reflex hammers, tuning forks and lab coats.
A disarticulated skeleton, often called a bone set, is a set of loose life-size bones you can pick up and turn over. It is how osteology is learned and examined in MBBS, BDS, nursing and physiotherapy courses.
Every bone set comes with one year of the XBONZ Anatomy Lab, an online 3D atlas of the skeleton, muscles, vessels, nerves and organs with study notes, viva questions, spotters and mock exams. The 3D skeleton at the top of this page is free to use.
What is the difference between a bilateral and a unilateral bone set?
A bilateral set has the bones of both sides of the body, so every paired bone is present as a left and a right. A unilateral set has one side only, plus the midline bones and the skull. Unilateral sets are lighter and cost less; bilateral sets let you compare left with right. Read the full comparison.
Which bone set should a first-year MBBS student buy?
A unilateral set is the usual personal choice because it covers bone identification and is easy to carry. Choose a bilateral set if you are sharing with friends or want to practise side determination with both sides in front of you.
Do you deliver outside India?
Yes. Delivery is free within India. Orders to the USA, the UK, Europe and other listed countries go by international courier, with the shipping charge shown at checkout.
