3D models: Z-Anatomy, the libre 3D atlas of anatomy (CC BY-SA 4.0), derived from BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science (CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan). Female body: 3D Reference Organ Set for Female, Human Reference Atlas / HuBMAP (Browne and Schlehlein), built on the Visible Human Project of the U.S. National Library of Medicine (CC BY 4.0). In the female body the spine, pelvis, leg bones, heart, trunk vessels, brain, lungs, liver, intestines, kidneys, bladder, eyes and reproductive system are from the female dataset. Structures it lacks (skull, ribs, arm and foot bones, muscles, limb and head vessels, peripheral nerves, lymph nodes, endocrine glands, stomach, oesophagus, mouth and ear) are borrowed from the male model, reshaped to her body and listed as “borrowed from the male model”. All models simplified for the web. Study notes are a revision aid; check them against your course text.
